Formerly a reputable financial news website with a flair for the dramatic. This is no longer true. As of 2022, site has pay walled comments, is primarily disaster finance news syndicated from other websites, with little to no original content. There are interstitial advertisements making the site unpleasant to read. Zerohedge is not a far-right website, but it is difficult to use, and isn't a reliable source for investors.

This site is a clever mix of fact, fiction and opinion. They post articles which are demonstrably relying upon unproven assumption, disinformation and pseudoscience. Initially I was considering ZH as quite reliable website focusing on economics but then to my surprise I stumbled upon stories on ZH that look like some kind of joke or low quality science fiction. Fir example the story of deadly virus engineered in USA was released in Ukraine ("20 Dead, 200 Hospitalized After Reports US Lab "Leaks" Deadly Virus In Ukraine", 25 Jan 2016). Even a brief verification proves these are completely made up fakes, most likely distributed by Russia as part of a smear campaign against Ukraine (or USA?). This completely undermines any reliability ZH might have, I just completely don't get how any serious website could publish such nonsense?!

Very "interesting" news channel with lots of information usually not covered by western mainstream media. I would say the information presented is usually "technically correct" in some sense, but not so always the conclusions. Please be aware that this site seem to be very much agenda driven in a political sense.It' expresses many critical views about everything "which isn't Russian". I wouldn't be surprised if the site receives financial funding from Russia in order to help drive their political agenda against Europe and the US. For good measurement they sometimes throw a boot at the Chinese as well. Then again, they DO a very good job covering lots of stuff and angles which western mainstream media choose to ignore or is unaware of. Just remember to wear sunglasses with the correct filters when visiting...

Non mainstream news site with a focus on the financial/economic world and its influence in everything else. Their opinions can be controversial but are always very well researched and hard to dispute. It presents an alternative view which is a welcome fresh breeze. Take your time to delve deep in the technical minutiae of the articles because it is worth. If you're looking for understanding of the world around us this is where you should start.

This is the best news website on the Internet, bar none. It contains pure news, unadulterated by corporate or government interests that prevent big media from ever presenting a quality story. They probably break more news stories than the WSJ and NY Times, combined. The site is bent towards business and politics, but basically will include any story of general interest. Not only are the articles fantastic, but the comments are an added plus It's one of the only sites I'd actually pay money to join, but it's free!

I would consider this something of a "renegade site" that usually takes issue with the mainstream economists and business media. It can provide useful information that may have been notice or deliberately ignored by other media, but the vetting standards are low so everyone needs to evaluate the info on their own. Language, icons & perhaps some links may be objectionable, and unsuited for children.
